Biketober is one of the biggest bike-riding initiatives in Victoria, and across Australia. A collaboration between Love to Ride, RACV and the City of Melbourne, the initiative sees hundreds of Australians choosing the bike over other forms of mobility for their daily commute to work, improving their fitness, mental health and overall well-being.
And as cyclists across Australia start to clock up more bike rides, the focus turns to safe riding, particularly with so many commutes occurring during low lighting conditions.
Now I don't know if you've heard, but we here at Project Flock are particularly interested in cyclist visibility, recognition and safety.
So this year, we’re excited to be offering the Flock Light as one of the many great prizes available for this year’s Biketober Challenge. You can check out all of them on the Love To Ride website, and if you haven’t already, there’s still time to register!
For those of you who have registered, reach out and tell us about it - we’re offering a 10% discount to all Biketober participants during October.
See ya out there, and happy riding Flockers!
